Open your iPhone or iPad’s Camera app first. This is normally on the home screen at the bottom right of the device, but it is on the first page on iPads, and if you switch it around it it will be somewhere else. Keep the camera of the computer on to QR code. Do not press the shutter button, the iOS system detects the QR code immediately and notifies on-screen. (Make sure you’re wired to Wi-Fi, or cell signal, otherwise it won’t work.)

Wallet app can scan QR codes on iPhone and iPad
The Wallet app on the iPhone and iPod even has a built-in QR reader. Open the app to access the scanner, press the plus button at the top of the ‘Passes’ section, and then tap Add Pass Scan Code.
You can search QR codes for vouchers, boarding passes, tickets and loyalty cards from here, but only for the particular items that “passes.” are considered by Pocket.
